The Site is provided for professional, informational, portfolio, networking, and business-development purposes.
Content on the Site may describe professional experience, services, software projects, designs, case studies, businesses, client work, technical implementations, products, or other professional activities.
Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer, employment commitment, professional services agreement, warranty, representation of future performance, or other contractual commitment unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
2. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its original contents are owned by or licensed to Colmena Digital LLC, Edgardo Altuve, or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade dress, publicity, unfair competition, and other intellectual-property laws.
Protected materials may include, without limitation:

- graphics and illustrations;
- logos and branding;
- software demonstrations;
- source-code excerpts;
- user-interface designs;
- screenshots;
- product images;
- project presentations;
- case studies;
- layouts and visual compositions;
- animations;
- videos;
- audio;
- documentation;
- business names and trademarks; and
- other original materials displayed on the Site.
The presence of any material on a publicly accessible webpage does not place that material in the public domain and does not grant any license except as expressly provided in these Terms.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
3. Third-Party and Client Materials
Certain portfolio projects, case studies, screenshots, trademarks, logos, photographs, interfaces, products, or other materials displayed on the Site may incorporate or depict intellectual property belonging to clients, collaborators, employers, vendors, project stakeholders, or other third parties.
Such materials are displayed solely for legitimate portfolio, commentary, identification, historical, descriptive, or informational purposes where permitted.
Ownership of third-party trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property remains with their respective owners.
Nothing on this Site grants you any right or license to use third-party materials.
References to third-party companies, products, or services do not necessarily imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation.
4. Limited Permission to View the Site
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view publicly available portions of the Site for lawful personal, informational, professional, or evaluative purposes.
This permission does not include any right to reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit, modify, sublicense, sell, or create derivative works from Site content.
5. Prohibited Use of Content
Except with prior express written authorization, you may not:
- copy, download, reproduce, republish, redistribute, or transmit substantial portions of Site content;
- modify, adapt, translate, remix, or create derivative works from Site content;
- sell, license, sublicense, monetize, or commercially exploit Site content;
- extract photographs, graphics, screenshots, designs, or other assets for use elsewhere;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, watermark, or ownership notices;
- falsely represent Site content as your own;
- use Site content in deceptive, defamatory, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful ways;
- impersonate Edgardo Altuve, Colmena Digital LLC, or any person or organization depicted on the Site;
- use personal imagery or likenesses to create deceptive synthetic media or impersonations;
- systematically scrape, harvest, mirror, archive, or reproduce the Site for the purpose of creating a competing or substitute database, service, publication, portfolio, or content repository; or
- assist another person or entity in carrying out any of the foregoing activities.
6. Personal Photographs, Likeness, and Identity
Particular protection applies to photographs, portraits, facial imagery, voice recordings, videos, signatures, biographical information, and other materials capable of identifying or depicting Edgardo Altuve or another identifiable individual.
No permission is granted to use such materials for:
- advertisements or endorsements;
- synthetic or manipulated identities;
- deepfakes;
- impersonation;
- avatar generation;
- facial-recognition systems;
- biometric identification;
- voice cloning;
- identity verification datasets;
- commercial image datasets; or
- any other commercial exploitation of an individual's identity or likeness.
Nothing on the Site constitutes consent to the commercial use of any person's name, image, voice, likeness, identity, or other protected personal attribute.
7. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Dataset Use
Except as expressly permitted below, Site content may not be collected, copied, scraped, extracted, reproduced, or otherwise used for the purpose of:
- training an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model;
- fine-tuning or adapting an existing model;
- creating or expanding a training dataset;
- creating facial-recognition, biometric, voice-recognition, or identity-analysis systems;
- creating synthetic replicas of an individual's image, face, voice, appearance, identity, writing, or creative work;
- creating datasets intended for resale, licensing, model development, benchmarking, or commercial exploitation; or
- developing a product, service, model, database, or system designed to substitute for or reproduce substantial portions of the Site or its content.
This restriction does not prohibit ordinary search-engine indexing, legitimate web discovery, link previews, citation, referencing, or automated retrieval whose primary purpose is to identify, locate, summarize, cite, or direct users to the original Site, provided that such activity:
- does not create or improve a training dataset or machine-learning model;
- does not create a substitute repository of Site content;
- does not use personal imagery for facial, biometric, synthetic-identity, or impersonation purposes;
- preserves reasonable attribution to the original source where applicable; and
- complies with applicable technical directives, metadata, and crawler controls published by the Site.
No rights are granted for AI training merely because content is technically accessible to an automated system.
8. Automated Access and Scraping
Automated access that places unreasonable load on the Site, circumvents technical restrictions, ignores access controls, attempts unauthorized extraction, or is used primarily for prohibited commercial exploitation is not permitted.
We may use technical measures to detect, rate-limit, block, or otherwise restrict automated traffic.
Authorization granted to one crawler, service, search engine, or automated agent does not constitute authorization to any other party or for any other purpose.
9. Trademarks
Names, logos, product names, project names, brand elements, and other identifiers appearing on the Site may be trademarks or service marks belonging to Colmena Digital LLC, Edgardo Altuve, clients, partners, or other third parties.
Nothing on the Site grants a license to use any trademark without the prior permission of its respective owner.
10. Contact Forms and Communications
The Site may allow visitors to submit inquiries through a contact form or other communication method.
By submitting information, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
Submitting a message does not create a confidential, fiduciary, employment, agency, partnership, contractor, or professional-client relationship.
Unless a separate confidentiality agreement has been executed, you should not submit confidential, proprietary, trade-secret, security-sensitive, or otherwise restricted information through the Site.
You grant us permission to use the information you submit as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and conduct related business communications.
11. Unsolicited Commercial Communications
Contact information displayed on this Site is provided for legitimate professional communications.
It may not be harvested or used for automated marketing, mass solicitation, spam, bulk messaging, database enrichment, lead-list resale, or similar unsolicited commercial activities.
12. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites or services, including professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
Third-party services are operated independently and are subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and practices.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, services, availability, content, security, accuracy, or privacy practices.
Your use of third-party services is at your own discretion and risk.
13. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to present accurate information, but professional histories, technology descriptions, project details, statistics, screenshots, availability, links, and other content may change or become outdated.
We do not warrant that all information on the Site is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Portfolio content may be abbreviated, simplified, anonymized, modified, or presented selectively to protect confidentiality, intellectual property, commercial interests, or third-party rights.
14. No Professional Advice

Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as legal, financial, investment, tax, cybersecurity, engineering, medical, or other regulated professional advice.
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice when necessary.

WE DISCLAIM, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of Liability

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Colmena Digital LLC, Edgardo Altuve, and their respective members, managers, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
19. Enforcement and Remedies
Unauthorized use of Site content may violate copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contract, unfair-competition, computer-access, or other applicable laws.
Such violations may result in civil remedies and, where applicable, criminal liability.
We reserve the right to pursue any remedies available under applicable law, including injunctive relief, monetary damages, and recovery of costs or fees where legally permitted.
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.
20. Reporting Copyright or Rights Concerns
If you believe material appearing on the Site infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, please contact:
Please identify the relevant material, the right you believe is affected, and sufficient information for us to evaluate the request.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, technology, business practices, or applicable law.
The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Florida, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
